Jesus Trail Forum

Much of the Jesus Trail route can be done by mountain bike, with a few detours around steep footpaths.

Has anyone done all or part of the trail by mountain bike? What was it like?

The Nazareth Mountain Bikers club rode the trail this weekend, the first group to try and ride the entire route. All of the trail is possible for experienced mountain bikers except the following sections:
- Lavi cemetery to top of hill (500m) - just walk the bike or ride on farm trails around
- from the top of the Horns of Hattin to Nebi Shueib - take the black-blazed 4x4 around to the Arbel Valley to connect with the blue trail or carry your bike down the steep hill for 1.2km
- from Mt. Arbel to Wadi Hamam - return the same way you came up from Wadi Arbel on the blue-blazed 4x4
